Time Flies

Tonight is a short message. I'm tired and I have to wake up early. I really like this blogging thing, even if I'm uncool and have 4 followers. Such is life, and it doesn't bother me. Anyways, my message for this evening is, well maybe a couple things. First: Do NOT procrastinate. Second: Forgiveness is Divine. Third: Don't skip sleep.

What a day!

Beginnings are great. For example, the first chapters of a book are what really draw me in, or the beginnings of marriages are so wonderfully profound. In my opinion, the reason why people like beginnings so much is because its the opportunity to start fresh, have a huge to-do list for them to check off, or just to elevate their curiosity as to whats going to happen in the future. Saying that, I have to tell you that the beginning of my day was beyond perfection... I woke up recharged and fresh, ready to take on my day. As the day passed in school, there wasn't anything to complain about either, and all the sudden I thought about Cross Country that would take place right after school. I was not excited about it at all which is a very uncommon thing for me. I started running Cross Country this year, and of course its difficult but I never found myself dreading a practice. Continuing on, I got all geared up in my athletic outfit and set off to our running centre. ONE OF THE WORST DAYS OF MY LIFE. I ran horribly. I don't know why I was running so awfully, but I'm guessing my attitude had a lot to do with the whole situation. Tonight I'm making a promise to myself that I'm going to come to practice with a good attitude, and work past the pain. Attitude is everything people. Remember that.

Got my lunch packed up.

Hello to my short list of followers. This post is mostly for my sake because I just want to type and remind myself of the awesome day that I had today. I got to speak in Church today, and it was about enduring to the end. I am so thankful to be a Mormon, and the blessings that I receive from God are wonderfully beyond description. It sure has been a long time since the last time I was on here, but a few friends of mine started blogs about their studying abroad experiences, so I figured I would touch up on mine just a little bit.
Anyways, I just wanted to say one more thing before I go to bed. Its really hard to love certain people at times but I need to start reflecting on what Christ's ministry is about. He loves each and everyone of us, and he wants us to be kind to our brothers and sisters. When he was being crucified, he was praying, and he said, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." He forgave the men who were killing him, because He wanted them to have the chance to learn the Gospel, and have a chance at repentance. Anyways, I need to get rested for school. Nighty-Night!
